A New Paradigm
Since the demise of the Wig Party Americans have generally aligned themselves with the Democrat and Republican parties.
During the industrial rebirth of America following the Civil War the Democrat party emerged as advocates for the “little people” while the Republican party generally supported laissez-faire capitalism until Theodore Roosevelt’s moved to breakup the big monopolies. That gradually changed after WWII.
FDR’s efforts to bring the U.S. economy back from the great depression of the 30’s created voting habits that persisted until 2016. In the interregnum President Eisenhower warned of the power possessed by the Military Industrial Complex (Big Money). Big Tech emerged and connected the world via the internet and handheld communication devices. Big Media aligned with big Tech and Big money.
Shadowy big money is corrosive in politics. For six decades following WWII the people continued to identify personal self interest with one of two political parties in the U.S.A. Political discord played out between parties and through the balance of the millennia life for the majority seemed to move forward regardless of which political party held sway in federal governance.
Jump to 2016. An outsider emerged as the surprise winner of the Presidency of the U.S.A. That single event upset the apple cart for the political establishment and has exposed the extent of the corruption that exists in Federal and State government
The latest Covid19 Relief package opened our eyes to a mechanism used by swamp creatures to get rich at taxpayer expense. At a time when American citizens are hurting our government spent 70% on foreign aid and privileged projects that have nothing to do with helping our people. Why would the government do this to us you may ask? Because they get paid and get rich on money that flows back to enterprises, they control, that benefit from business deals with aid recipients.
The system works for Republican and Democrat politicians equally well.
Now jump to 2020. After four years of steady progress produced by a political outsider who promised to “drain the swamp” and thus disrupt the systematic fleecing of the U.S. treasury, the political establishment, Democrats and Republicans, have had enough. They along with their benefactors, foreign and domestic, have desperately conspired to remove the outsider and return to regular political order. However, the political establishment is now exposed. They are showing us how wide and deep the swamp really is and I believe they have seriously underestimated the resolve of the registered voting majority nationwide.
I sincerely hope that President Donald Trump will continue to lead the freedom loving citizens of the U.S.A. The old lines were drawn between Democrats and Republicans. The new line is between Capitalist and Socialist. There are at least 80,000,000 + free men and women ready to take on a very small minority of Socialist/Communist who now control the old Democrat party.
Forget Republican and Democrat. A new Freedom party is “the people’s” best hope to drain the swamp and preserve our Republic.
